The Ramsar Wetland Conservation Awards will be presented in October 2018 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at the 13th Meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties to the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands (COP13).

At its 53rd meeting, the Standing Committee adopted the categories, criteria and procedures for the Awards, through Decision SC53-13.

Three Awards will be granted and each recipient will receive the Evian Special Prize of US$ 10,000 offered by the Danone Group as part of its support to the Convention.
